ROLAND & APRIL
A place to gather.
We like to work with a more naturalistic aesthetic. It tends to look a bit more "rugged", but it works well with it's environment.
To maximize the usable space in a confined area, we chose to build a round patio with a dry laid seating wall at the perimeter. A combination of sizes and shapes, as well as stone types were used in both the wall construction, and the flat work.

A before shot of Roland and Aprils' patio.

Roland and April's wall after. This boulder doesn't look like much half buried. But, it's every bit of three hundred pounds, trust me!
This retaining wall that runs along the edge of the driveway, and decreases in size until it becomes a line of stone, will be planted out this spring. Once the plants establish, this wall will fade into the background as intended.
